This Hongsa is 18 inches tall, made from resins, electroplated with copper. It is standing and turning its neck, long beak and the tail that looks like naga. Its eyes are made from ruby.

Hongsa is one of the creatures that is believed to live in the Himavanta, a legendary forest which surrounds the base of Mount Meru in Hindu and Buddhist mythology.
Hongsa shares similar traits as a swan. In Hindu religion, Hongsa is also the vehicle of lord Brahma and appears in many Thai architectures.
